Résumé :

For A. Buzgalin, a professor at the state university of Lomonosov in Moscow, the ghost of anti-globalization is present all over the world.

While using the concrete example of social movements in Russia, the author explains and describes the main characteristics of the emerging phenomenon of alternative globalization movements, and analyzes them through concepts such as "alienation" or "global hegemony".

Through his various analyses, he shows the link between left-wing movements and the present alternative globalization movements, and how the latter are "new" social movements. The author admits that alternatives proposed by such movements can seem unrealistic but believes that with a good organization of programs and of action, they will be able to demonstrate that in practice, another world is possible.
