The first part of the questionnaire is based on the management’s discussions and declarations and will allow a better understanding of the strategy, the logic and the evolution of the MFI in terms of social objectives. It will help to set the social performance indicators - collected in the second part - in an historical, geographical and socio-economical context and facilitate the interpretation of the second part. The second part is divided into four areas of social performance: outreach to the poor and excluded; adaptation of the services and products to the needs of the target clients; improving clients’ social and political capital, and the social responsibility of MFIs.
