Introduction to the Workshop on International Regulations

Résumé :

The Workshop has tried to deal with all the issues which are the causes and effects of neo-liberal globalization, as well as those of the actors which promote and benefit from the neo-liberal globalization. It may represent a first attempt to collectively discuss issues on such a wide range in a single workshop with a variety of campaigners, scholars, researchers, experts, lobbyists, and NGO activists together. The Workshop has succeeded in working out and presenting a number of proposals on international regulations in the short and medium term. However, what is left is creating a long term vision of another world economy other than current market economy run by neo-liberalism. It will be a task for the second phase of the Workshop in future.
