Some texts on social capital published recently, from the United States and the United Kingdom, propose a very interesting new conclusion to this topic: “Social capital is high where economic and social resources and socio-economic privileges are too. Trust and social capital vary according to socio-economic privilege. Economic resources are necessary in order to construct a social capital.” S.
