Going Glocal. Putting the local on the glocal stage.

Going glocal concerns the importance of local identities and cultures, the local environment, the diversity and richness of local communities, in and of themselves. It asserts that citizens who are active participants in their own development are a critical ingredient in transitioning the globe towards a sustainable future. It asserts that local production and innovation can and must become linked to alternative glocal markets and institutions that draw our conception and practice of development onto a more sustainbale path.
