Building a World Alliance to Face Social Apartheid - A Note on the Central Theme of the Economy and Society

Résumé :

The uncontrolled progression of social exclusion in Western countries and the proven failure of development policies in many Southern countries, with in their wake poverty and outbursts of violence, have forced us to reconsider the Western political and economic model in the globalization process.

This summary note presents excepts of the research work on the reasons behind social exclusion and a number of alternative proposals in economic, social, and political arenas in view of a fairer and more united world.
