This article analyses the different levels of consumption in the contemporary globalised society. Consumption transforms the modern human being into a merchandise by increasing individualism and by cancelling the ethics. She analyses the cultural mechanism of consumption and presents reflections about alternative experiences establishing an ethics that will change the priorities and put the human being in the first place.
