Launch text on « Regulations and social responsibility »

Résumé :

The globalization of today acts like a mechanism delocalizing all controls on economic and political activity. The result has been, on one hand, the concentration of power, wealth and knowledge, and on the other hand, total inequality, poverty and exclusion.

If economic agents are not efficient enough to guarantee fundamental rights two strategies of intervention exist: the first to change the rules that define the nature of agents and their relationships between them, and the second, to impose rules and norms obliging agents to behave in a different manner in the present socioeconomic setting.

And it is above all in this last field that the workgroup wants to intervene, as well as in the development of alternatives.
